Originally configured as three flats, the brief was to convert the property from flats back into a single house dwelling situated on one of the most prestigious roads in Wimbledon, SW19.

This full house refurbishment had major internal reconfiguration which involved significant structural work on all levels involving over 30 RSJ beams. After bring the entire property completely back to brick the canvas was set.

The focus was to create a contemporary design but retain many of the original features and to improve the amount of light coming into the property.

Time frame to complete the project including planning: 12 months

Key Works:

• Installation of wooden sash windows, double glazed with original stained glass design.

• Restored brickwork to the front of the property

• Entire roof was replaced and new slate tiles laid.

• Ground floor extension with 2.7 meter high bi folding doors opening into the garden.

• Dorma room added to the top floor creating an additional bedroom.

• New floors and joists laid at every level to correct the existing uneven floors.

• 3 electric veluxes' installed with 5 skylights.

• Traditional cornices, Coving and Architrave

• Marble bathrooms installed

• American walnut flooring laid throughout

• AV system featured Control 4 home automation system installed linked to heating, 

• All walls re-boarded  and plastered, finished with farrow and ball paint

• Modern gas fireplace installed

• Underfloor heating to the ground floor and bathrooms
