Rainbow Street, SE5:

A full refurbishment including a ground floor side and rear extension and a double loft conversion in a Victorian terrace house in Camberwell, SE5. 

 

The focus was to create a house compliant with the most recent HMO guidelines. Working closely with our architects we designed the property to achieve all of the necessary consents whilst ensuring it became a desirable place to rent and live.

The heart of the property was to be the kitchen and dining area which featured an exposed 'London Stock' brick wall, three sky lights for maximum natural light and a large three panel bi folding door leading on into the garden.

Consent and licence approved by Southwark Council

Time frame to complete project including planning: 12 months

Key Works:

  • Fully re-plumbed in copper and an installation of a system boiler and 60 litre mega flow. 

  • Fully rewired, installing linked fire alarms in all required rooms and installation of emergency lighting in line with council HMO requirements. 

  • Rear ground and side return extension for open plan kitchen / dining / living.

  • Loft extension - adding a double bedroom, single bedroom and Shower/WC.
